Before you leave
- Book online and give your flight number and expected arrival time.
- Save the TCAR number (+216 23 557 966, WhatsApp) in your phone.
- Keep your documents in your hand luggage: licence, passport, credit card in the driver's name.
- Download offline maps for your route, or add the GPS option.
On arrival
TCAR operates 24/7: our agent waits for you in the arrivals hall with a sign bearing your name, whatever the time. If your flight is delayed, let us know on WhatsApp as soon as possible.
The keys are handed over in the airport car park: walk round the car with the agent, check the fuel level and take a few photos before you set off.
Driving to your hotel at night
- Stick to motorways and main roads, which are better lit.
- Slow down on secondary roads: two-wheelers and carts can be hard to see.
- Police checkpoints are frequent, including at night: slow down and switch on the interior light as you approach.
- If you are tired after the flight, consider a hotel near the airport for the first night.
